The quality standards at Flexpak

Flexpak produces according to a fully-fledged quality system. Ever since 1977, we supply flexible packaging materials to wholesalers and retailers, and the food and candy industry. That is why Flexpak was one of the first companies in The Netherlands to own a BRCGS Packaging Materials-certificate. In our quality management system, all procedures, working methods and hygiene rules are described, in order to supply our products to the customer in compliance with the BRCGS Packaging Materials standard and the highest quality standards.

Flexpak owns the following quality certificates:

BRCGS Packaging Materials certificate AA status

ISO 26000 signed self-declaration CSR

ISO 14001 with CO2 reduction management

Kosher certificate

Ecovadis

Every year, our BRCGS Packaging Materials quality system is audited (assessed) by an accredited external agency. Manufacturing products according to the highest quality standards is the highest priority within our company. This means there is a lot of testing and intermediate checking going on.

Currently, the products are manufactured on three high-tech flexo presses, with professionally trained employees. These presses are equipped with the newest control and inspection devices, in order to reduced any errors to a minimum. At our laminating department, two- or three-layer laminates are produced that comply with all the requirements made by the food industry. All our foil and ink complies with these requirements as well.

All the OPACKGROUP companies belong to EFTA Benelux. This is a trade association for companies that specialise in the flexographic printing process.

Flexpak is part of the OPACKGROUP: seven manufacturers, ten production locations, an independent research lab, home reprography and more than 750 professionals with a wealth of experience!
